Low Calorie Chocolate Cake

Ingredients
Wet Ingredients
  • 230 ml milk

  • 2 eggs

  • 100 ml liquid sweetener

Dry Ingredients
  • 130 g self-raising flour

  • 30 g cocoa powder

  • ½ teaspoon baking powder

  • 20 g chocolate chips

Icing Ingredients
  • 250 g 0% fat Greek yogurt

  • 15 g chocolate whey protein

  • 1 teaspoon cocoa powder

  • 1 tablespoon sweetener

Toppings

  • Fresh strawberries

  • Extra chocolate chips


Instructions
  1. Mix the Wet Ingredients
    In a bowl, whisk together the milk, eggs, and liquid sweetener until well combined.

  2. Add the Dry Ingredients
    Sift the self-raising flour, cocoa powder, and baking powder into the wet mixture.

  3. Fold in Chocolate Chips
    Mix until smooth, then gently fold in the chocolate chips.

  4. Bake
    Pour the batter into a lined baking tin. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (180°C) for 20 minutes, or until a knife inserted comes out clean.

  5. Prepare the Icing
    While the cake cools, mix the Greek yogurt, chocolate whey protein, cocoa powder, and sweetener until creamy and smooth.

  6. Frost & Garnish
    Spread the icing over the cooled cake. Top with sliced strawberries and extra chocolate chips.
