Low Calorie Breakfast Crinkle

A crispy, accordion-style flatbread breakfast bake layered with garlic butter, fluffy eggs, and melted cheese. This versatile base can be customized with your favorite proteins or even turned into a sweet version.


Ingredients
  • 6 sheets Cut Da Carb flatbread

  • 1 stick light butter, melted

  • 1 tablespoon garlic blend seasoning

  • 4 eggs

  • 2 tablespoons half and half (or cream)

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

  • Shredded cheese, to preference

  • Optional: salsa and fresh parsley, for garnish


Instructions
  1. Prepare the Bread
    Wrap the flatbread sheets in a damp paper towel and microwave for 1 minute to soften.

  2. Create the Crinkle
    Fold each flatbread sheet into an accordion (crinkle) shape and place them tightly into a baking pan.

  3. Butter Wash
    Mix the melted light butter with the garlic seasoning and pour evenly over the crinkled bread.

  4. First Bake
    Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 20 minutes, until the edges begin to crisp.

  5. Add the Eggs
    Whisk together the eggs, half and half, salt, and pepper. Pour evenly over the par-baked bread.

  6. Cheesy Finish
    Top with shredded cheese and return to the oven for 15–20 minutes, until set and golden.

  7. Serve
    Garnish with salsa and fresh parsley, if desired. Slice and enjoy!
